Academy Enrollment Agreement

WAX TECHNICIAN PROGRAM ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

This Enrollment Agreement explains the financial terms, scheduling requirements, cancellation and withdrawal policies, and student responsibilities associated with enrollment in a Peach Rose Academy Wax Technician Program.

Please review this Agreement carefully before purchasing a program.

1. PROGRAM OPTIONS & TUITION

Peach Rose Academy offers the following Wax Technician Program enrollment options:

Full Program — Theory + Practical: $2,495

The Full Program includes the complete Peach Rose Academy Wax Technician Program, including applicable online theory education, in-person practical education, orientation, instructor support, training supplies used during Practical Clinicals, model support, State Board theory and practical exam preparation, and a State Board Practical Exam Kit.

Theory Only — Part I: $995

Theory Only includes the applicable online theory portion of the program, TO-01 Theory Only Orientation, CIMA by Milady access, digital eTextbook access, instructor support, theory-hour tracking, and State Board theory exam preparation.

Theory Only does not constitute completion of the full Wax Technician Program.

Practical Only — Part II: $1,695

Practical Only includes the applicable hands-on portion of the program, PO-01 Practical Only Orientation, Practical Clinicals, applicable training supplies, model support, instructor guidance, practical-hour and performance tracking, State Board practical exam preparation, and a State Board Practical Exam Kit.

Applicable Theory requirements must be successfully completed before a student completes the Practical portion of the program.

Enrollment Fee

Each advertised program price includes a $100 enrollment fee.

The $100 enrollment fee is not an additional charge and will not be added to the advertised program price.

The $100 enrollment fee is nonrefundable, subject to applicable law.

2. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Peach Rose Academy's complete Wax Technician Program is based on the applicable Virginia-approved Wax Technician curriculum.

Virginia currently requires a Wax Technician curriculum to contain a minimum of 115 clock hours and applicable practical performances.

Students are responsible for successfully completing all applicable:

Clock hours;
Coursework and assignments;
Assessments and examinations;
Orientations;
Practical performances;
Practical competencies; and
Academy documentation and completion requirements.

Completion of clock hours alone does not constitute program completion if other applicable requirements remain outstanding.

3. THEORY EDUCATION

Applicable Theory coursework is completed online through CIMA by Milady.

Theory is self-paced with instructor support. Students are responsible for completing all assigned coursework, discussions, activities, assessments, examinations, and required Theory hours.

Students have up to six months from their Theory start date to complete applicable Theory requirements unless otherwise approved by Peach Rose Academy.

Students may complete Theory sooner.

Failure to complete Theory within the applicable timeframe may require an approved extension, additional fees, or reenrollment.

Extensions are not automatic.

4. ORIENTATION & PRACTICAL TRAINING

Students must complete the orientation applicable to their enrollment:

Full Program: WTP-01 Wax Technician Program Theory & Practical Orientation

Theory Only: TO-01 Theory Only Orientation

Practical Only: PO-01 Practical Only Orientation

Practical instruction is completed in person at Peach Rose Academy. Virginia requires practical Wax Technician instruction to occur in a traditional brick-and-mortar classroom setting.

Practical Clinicals are generally available:

Monday–Wednesday: 5:00 PM–9:00 PM
Saturday–Sunday: 1:30 PM–5:30 PM

Each regularly scheduled Practical Clinical is approximately four hours.

Availability may change based on Academy operations, instructor availability, holidays, enrollment, models, or other scheduling considerations.

Students are responsible for scheduling enough Practical Clinicals to complete their remaining requirements.

5. ATTENDANCE, CLOCK HOURS & PRACTICAL PERFORMANCES

Students receive credit only for documented training actually completed.

Late arrivals, early departures, missed sessions, or incomplete participation may result in fewer clock hours being credited.

Students must complete both the applicable clock-hour requirements and required practical performances.

Peach Rose Academy maintains student attendance, clock-hour and practical-performance records in accordance with applicable requirements. Virginia specifically requires schools to maintain signed records of attendance, clock hours and practical performances.

6. INDIVIDUAL CLASS & SESSION CANCELLATIONS

The policies in this section apply when a student remains enrolled but needs to cancel or reschedule an individual session.

They are different from withdrawing from the program.

Orientation

Students are encouraged to cancel or reschedule Orientation at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.

There is no penalty for rescheduling Orientation.

Advance notice allows the instructor time to prepare and makes the reserved time available to another student.

Study Sessions

Private and Group Study Sessions require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

Study Session fees are nonrefundable.

Students who provide at least 24 hours' notice may transfer their reservation one time to another available session.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend, will result in forfeiture of the session and any associated fee.

Forfeited payments are not credited toward future classes, sessions, or purchases.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in restricted access to future Study Session reservations.

Practical Classes & Clinicals

Practical Clinical sessions require at least 72 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

Changes made at least 72 hours in advance may be rescheduled without penalty.

Changes made less than 72 hours in advance, or failure to attend, will result in forfeiture of the scheduled session and require a make-up day.

Two make-up days are included with applicable program enrollment.

After both included make-up days have been used, additional required make-up instruction may require additional tuition or fees.

Excessive absences may affect the student's ability to complete the program within the applicable timeframe or continue enrollment.

Students are never penalized for Academy-initiated cancellations or schedule changes.

7. WITHDRAWING FROM A WAX TECHNICIAN PROGRAM

Withdrawing from the program is different from canceling or rescheduling an individual class.

A student who wishes to discontinue their Wax Technician Program must notify Peach Rose Academy in writing at ACADEMY@PEACHROSEWAXINGSPA.COM

The student's withdrawal date will be documented by Peach Rose Academy based on the student's written withdrawal and applicable student records.

Simply stopping attendance, discontinuing CIMA activity, or failing to schedule Practical Clinicals does not automatically guarantee a tuition refund.

Any refund due will be calculated according to this Agreement.

8. TUITION REFUND POLICY

Cancellation Before the Program Begins

If a student cancels enrollment before orientation, the beginning the program, amounts paid will be refunded less the $100 nonrefundable enrollment fee and any applicable nonrefundable materials already issued or shipped to the student.

Withdrawal After the Program Begins

Once a student's program has begun, the refundable portion of tuition is determined by the percentage of the student's enrolled program completed at withdrawal.

Peach Rose Academy calculates program completion using the student's documented clock hours, including applicable Orientation, Theory and Practical hours, compared with the total clock hours required for the student's enrolled program or program portion.

The refund schedule is:

Tuition Refund Schedule

If you withdraw after your program has started, your refund is based on the percentage of your enrolled program you have completed:

Up to 25% completed: 75% of refundable tuition will be refunded.

26% to 50% completed: 50% of refundable tuition will be refunded.

51% to 75% completed: 25% of refundable tuition will be refunded.

More than 75% completed: No tuition refund will be issued.

Refundable tuition is the amount eligible for refund after the $100 nonrefundable enrollment fee and any applicable nonrefundable materials have been excluded.

The $100 nonrefundable enrollment fee is excluded from the refundable tuition calculation.

Any amount that is nonrefundable, earned, deducted, or forfeited under this Agreement will not be credited toward future classes, programs, products, or services.

Nonrefundable Materials

Printed textbooks are nonrefundable once issued or shipped.

State Board Practical Exam Kits are nonrefundable once issued or shipped.

If a State Board Practical Exam Kit was included in the student's program price and has already been issued before withdrawal, $249 will be deducted from any refund otherwise due.

If the included kit has not been issued, the $249 kit deduction will not apply.

9. THEORY ACCESS & WITHDRAWAL

Because Theory education includes third-party digital course access and documented clock hours, a student withdrawing from a program containing Theory must choose how their Theory portion will be handled.

Option A — End Theory Access and Receive the Applicable Theory Refund

If the student elects to receive any refund attributable to the refundable Theory portion of enrollment, the student's CIMA access will be terminated when practicable.

Theory hours associated with the refunded Theory enrollment will not be retained by Peach Rose Academy for future Peach Rose Academy reentry credit.

If the student later reenrolls, the student will be responsible for meeting the Theory requirements and tuition applicable to the new enrollment.

Option B — Retain Completed Theory Hours

A student may elect to retain eligible completed Theory hours for possible Peach Rose Academy reentry rather than receiving a refund attributable to the Theory portion.

In that situation, no refund will be issued for the retained Theory portion.

The student's refund, if any, will be limited to the refundable portion of the student's remaining Practical enrollment, subject to the applicable completion percentage, $100 enrollment fee, nonrefundable materials and other terms of this Agreement.

When withdrawing, the student must make their Theory election in writing.

10. Practical Hours After Withdrawal & Reentry

Documented Practical hours successfully earned before withdrawal may remain eligible for Peach Rose Academy reentry for up to six months from the student's withdrawal date.

A student who wishes to return within that six-month period must reenroll with Peach Rose Academy. Previously completed hours and practical performances will be reviewed and applied when eligible under applicable Academy and Virginia requirements.

Tuition for reentry will be based on the student's remaining program requirements and the tuition rates in effect at the time of reentry.

Reentry is subject to program availability, the student's standing with Peach Rose Academy, and applicable program and regulatory requirements.

After six months, previously earned hours are not guaranteed to receive Peach Rose Academy reentry credit.

11. LICENSED PROFESSIONAL & SECONDARY EDUCATION CLASSES

This section applies to Peach Rose Academy specialty, advanced, secondary, and Licensed Professional Education classes that are not enrollment in the 115-hour Wax Technician Program.

Registration fees for these classes are nonrefundable.

Students who provide at least 72 hours' notice may transfer their registration one time to another available date for the same class.

Requests made with less than 72 hours' notice and no-shows result in forfeiture of the registration fee.

Forfeited registration fees are not applied as credit toward future classes, services, products, or other purchases.

Because hands-on education may require reserved instructor time, training space, supplies and scheduled models, Peach Rose Academy incurs costs in preparing for each enrolled student.

If Peach Rose Academy cancels a class, the affected student may transfer the amount paid to another available date or receive a refund of the applicable class registration payment.

12. ACADEMY-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS

Students are not penalized for a session canceled by Peach Rose Academy.

If Peach Rose Academy cancels or reschedules an individual Orientation, Practical Clinical, Study Session, or class, the student will receive an appropriate opportunity to reschedule.

If Peach Rose Academy permanently cancels a program and cannot provide the student's remaining purchased instruction, the Academy will provide the appropriate refund for instruction not provided, subject to applicable law.

13. PROGRAM COMPLETION & LICENSURE

Completing Peach Rose Academy's Wax Technician Program does not itself constitute a Virginia Wax Technician license.

Students must successfully complete all applicable Academy program requirements before Peach Rose Academy can document program completion.

Graduates are separately responsible for satisfying the examination, application, fees and other requirements established by the Commonwealth of Virginia for professional licensure.

Peach Rose Academy does not guarantee examination passage or issuance of a professional license.

14. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Students are responsible for providing accurate enrollment information, maintaining current contact information, monitoring Academy communications, completing required coursework, attending scheduled instruction, following Academy safety and sanitation requirements, maintaining professional conduct, monitoring their progress, and scheduling required training in sufficient time to complete the program.

Students must treat instructors, staff, models, clients and other students professionally and respectfully.

Serious or repeated violations of Academy policies, unsafe conduct, dishonesty, harassment, disruption, or other conduct that materially interferes with training may result in corrective action up to and including termination of enrollment.

Termination does not automatically entitle the student to a tuition refund. Any refund due will be determined under the applicable terms of this Agreement and applicable law.

15. STUDENT RECORDS

Peach Rose Academy maintains student records in accordance with applicable Virginia requirements.

Virginia currently requires waxing schools to maintain specified enrollment, attendance, clock-hour, practical-performance and related student records from enrollment through five years after completion, termination, or withdrawal.

Students may request documentation of completed hours and performances. Virginia currently requires a school to provide required documentation within 21 days after receiving a student's written request.

16. STUDENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By enrolling in a Peach Rose Academy Wax Technician Program, the student acknowledges that they have been provided access to this Enrollment Agreement before enrollment and understand:

The program option and total price selected;
That the advertised price includes a $100 nonrefundable enrollment fee;
What is included with the selected program;
Applicable Theory and Practical requirements;
Scheduling and attendance requirements;
Individual-session cancellation and make-up policies;
The difference between rescheduling a class and withdrawing from the program;
The tuition refund schedule;
The treatment of Theory access and Theory hours following withdrawal;
The six-month Peach Rose Academy Practical reentry policy;
Nonrefundable textbook and State Board Practical Exam Kit provisions;
Program completion requirements; and
That program completion and Virginia professional licensure are separate.

By completing enrollment and providing the required acknowledgment at checkout, the student acknowledges having had the opportunity to review these terms before purchasing.

The student's separately completed Peach Rose Academy Student Application and required signature will be maintained as part of the student's Academy record.
